Hansard helps the Children’s Centre at their community farm
At Hansard, we recently had the pleasure of visiting the Children’s Centre’s Community Farm on the Isle of Man—a place that truly embodies excellence in its mission. The Children’s Centre, a Manx charity, provides a nurturing environment for children facing various challenges, from educational struggles to disabilities, addiction, poverty, or domestic abuse.
The Farm is a haven offering a diverse range of activities to address the needs of these children, including art therapy, gardening, woodworking, metalworking, and animal husbandry, among others.
During our visit, we contributed to the ongoing construction of the boardwalk and flooring for their traditional roundhouse. Once finished, the roundhouse will serve as a valuable space for practitioners to support children and can also be rented out to generate crucial funds for the charity. We’re proud to be part of such meaningful work and look forward to continuing our support for the Children’s Centre.
