Broker Support Officer
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Broker Support Officer, to work within the Sales team in the IOM to assist with the maintenance of broker files and details and support a seamless introduction and ongoing relationships for key distributors with the Hansard sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the successful delivery of the departmental objectives along with your own.
- Be a team player and contribute to the “one team” approach across sales.
- Take ownership of and resolve any queries through to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Support ongoing reviews and updating of procedures within the team and department.
- Responsible for the accurate and efficient completion of administrative tasks provided to you.
- Ensure pended work is reviewed, chased and closed within expected Timescales.
- Proactive, solutions-based approach to understanding issues which arise, and able to implement actions according to administrative policies and Procedures.
- Timely and professional contact with stakeholders should be maintained at all times.
- Broker administration tasks including:

- Setting up Terms of Business
- Cancellation of Terms of Business
- Agent cancellation
- Suitable Certifier cancellation
- Company Name Change
- Director/Shareholders changes
- Onboarding of Brokers
- Portal Set Up & Bolt On
- Scanning documents
- Migration clean-up of data
- Data Feed requests (Jira)
