Forthcoming changes to Hansard's fund link ranges
Over the coming months, a number of changes to the fund links available from
Hansard International Limited and Hansard Europe Limited will be made.
These changes are set out here, together with the alternatives selected
to afford a continuation of each fund's specific investment objective.
Independent financial advisors have been informed of these changes;
letters will be issued in advance to clients with holdings in these funds.
In the meantime, any queries should be referred to the appropriate independent
financial advisor in the first instance.
Unit price movements
The value of investments and life assurance contracts depends on the performance of the fund links that are chosen. Fund link performance is measured by the progress of the unit price; unit prices can fall as well as rise. Unit price fluctuation may result in losses, especially in the short term.
Currency fluctuations
Gains or losses may arise on investments or unit-linked life assurance contracts as a result of exchange rate fluctuations.
