International life assurance
Hansard International Limited is our international life assurance company, based on the Isle of Man.
From its Isle of Man base, Hansard International complies with financial regulations similar to those of the United Kingdom. Equally important, the Isle of Man has the only statutory policyholders' compensation legislation of any offshore centre. The company is a member of the Manx Insurance Association (MIA) and the Association of International Life Offices (AILO).
Tax-free growth
Hansard International policies are not subject to tax in the Isle of Man. As a result, the funds grow virtually free of corporate, income and capital gains tax. In addition, no Isle of Man tax is deducted when monies are withdrawn from a Hansard International contract.
